Grilled Elephant Garlic Whips
1. Quickly blanch garlic whips (you can also use wild ramps or leeks) in boiling water, 2-4 minutes.
2. Drain and drizzle with olive oil.
3. Grill directly on grill for 5 - 8 minutes.
Fresh Foraged and Local Foods Stir-fry
2 tablespoons organic olive oil
1 cup shiitake mushrooms, sliced
1 cup local snap peas
1/2 cup sea beans
2 cups beet greens, chopped
2 tablespoons local scallions, chopped
2 tablespoons local garlic, chopped
1. Heat oil in skillet over medium heat.
2. Add mushrooms, snap peas, and sea beans and sauté for 5 minutes.
3. Add beet greens, garlic, and scallions and sauté for 3-5 minutes more. Remove
from heat and serve with fish, extra cilantro sauce, and garlic whips.
