Instead of buying pre-packaged teas, try these easy homemade brews. An indoor, organic herb

Ginger Tea
3 cups filtered water
2 tablespoons honey
½ orange – peeled, seeded, and separated into slices
Juice of one lemon
1 small clove
2 tablespoons of freshly chopped ginger
1. Boil 3 cups of water and add ginger, clove, and orange slices.
2. Simmer for 10 minutes.
3. Remove from heat and steep 20 minutes.
4. Strain into tea pot and add lemon juice and local honey.
Homemade Throat Soothing Tea
2 tablespoons juniper berry
2 tablespoons peppermint leaf
1 tablespoon marshmallow root
1 tablespoon red clover blossom
1/2 tablespoon licorice root
1. Combine above herbs in a small glass, sealable jar.
2. 1 Teaspoon for 1 cup of boiling water.
3. let steep for 15 minutes.
4. Serve hot with local honey and lemon juice.
